THE PEOPLE
WE FORGET.
Auto drivers. Construction workers. Delivery riders. Daily wage labourers. They show up at Labour Chowk before sunrise and take whatever work comes. No days off. No respite.
"They work in 45-degree heat, seven days a week, while we sit in air-conditioned rooms."
Chabeel is an act of seva. A cold drink, freely given. No transaction, no expectation. Just one human being saying thank you to another.
On Saturday, 20 June we show up at Sector 16, Labour Chowk with Lahori Jeera drink and bananas for 500+ people. Free. No cameras, no clout. Just show up and serve.
Every rupee goes towards the drink, the fruit, and getting to as many people as possible. We’ll share what we spent.
