Gyatt Running is a free community running club based in Faridabad. We take your privacy seriously. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how we use it.

What We Collect

• Registration data: your name and phone number when you sign up for Sunday runs.
• Poll responses: whether you plan to attend a run and your preferred distance (7K or 3K). Collected weekly.
• Check-in data: attendance confirmation at specific events.
• Strava data (optional): if you choose to connect your Strava account, we access your running activity data (distance, pace, and time) solely to power the monthly Wrapped leaderboard. We never post to your Strava or access it for any other purpose.

How We Use It

• To organise Sunday runs and send the meeting location via WhatsApp each week.
• To build the monthly Wrapped leaderboard (only for Strava-connected members).
• To track event attendance.
• We do not sell, share, rent, or market your data to any third parties. Ever.

WhatsApp

If you join the Gyatt Running WhatsApp group, your phone number and messages are governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We use the group only for run logistics: location, time, and updates.

Strava

Connecting Strava is entirely optional and only affects whether you appear on the Wrapped leaderboard. You can disconnect at any time from your Strava connected apps settings.

Data Storage

Registration and poll data is stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to Gyatt Running organisers. It is not shared with any third party. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Cookies

We use a single cookie to remember that you've accepted this notice. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Your Rights

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. DM us on Instagram and we'll remove you from all records within 7 days.
